Specify basic building parameters like its width, length, eave height, spacing between the main structure members (bays), site location, size, and position of openings, preferred material & colour of cladding, etc.

Note the building’s intended use as well as any additional loads that may be planned e.g. Solar panels on the roof etc. All these parameters are captured in a Project Information Form (PIF) which all SBS sales people have.

SBS does not do architectural work. Given that a building project has many aspects outside the scope of SAFBUILD®, the client is required to engage relevant professionals to execute the master planning, architecture, civil engineering, mechanical, electrical & all other specialist services as needed. SBS works with these professionals to integrate the SAFBUILD® scope into the overall project. The prevailing building code also requires that competent professionals be engaged in the design and execution of building works in Kenya.

We have trained and qualified erectors/installers who erect SAFBUILD® buildings under our guidance and supervision.
